What this release is
Clinic CMS is the dedicated outpatient module for pharmacy tenants running on-site clinics — separate from retail POS and inpatient HMS. This release ships the full daily workflow (book → check-in → queue → consult → bill) plus tenant and doctor configuration, and a complete Academy guide with real UI screenshots.
New — daily operations
- Clinic dashboard — today’s timeline with token, patient, and quick actions; practice and doctor filters; Follow-ups and Procedures tabs for same-day tracking.
- Appointments day board — status pills, token tiles, and row actions to book, check in, collect vitals, and print tokens.
- Appointment detail — single-visit view with patient context, status, and reschedule or cancel.
- Expected follow-ups — book and track doctor-requested return visits from the appointments board.
- Procedure follow-ups — monitor suggested procedures and next steps from dashboard and appointments tabs.
- Patient history — prior visits and clinical context from the appointments area.
- Queue board — four columns (Upcoming, Waiting, In room, Done) to triage the waiting room visually.
- Consultation workspace — focused doctor screen for notes, diagnosis, and
prescribing on
/clinic/consultations/:id. - Procedure suggestions — recommend OPD procedures during a consultation for billing and follow-up.
- Consultation fee collection — collect OPD fees at check-in or from the appointment row.
- Token & prescription printing — print queue tokens and Rx from appointment or consultation flows.
- OPD invoices — list and manage outpatient invoices linked to clinic visits.
New — tenant & practice setup
- Clinic practices — create practices under Admin → System → Clinic Practices with profile, queue rules, billing defaults, and Rx behaviour.
- Staff assignment — assign Clinic doctor and Reception roles in Users, with practice linkage from the user editor.
- Practice locations — add sites, operating hours, and location-specific settings from the practice hub.
- Prescription print templates — configure Rx header, footer, and layout per practice.
- Consultation slots & fees — doctor availability by weekday, session fees, and OPD procedures with practice fees.
- Doctor roster — manage clinic doctors, schedules, and practice membership from Clinic → Doctors.
New — doctor clinical setup
- Clinical fields — custom note sections and fields for consultation
documentation (
/clinic/clinical-fields). - Tags & favourites — personal tags plus favourite medicines and lab tests for faster prescribing.
- Diagnostic presets — save and reuse common diagnosis + investigation combinations.
- Personal slots & fees — doctors configure their own availability and fee schedule where permitted.
New — Academy documentation
- Clinic CMS guide (v1.0.0) — Diataxis structure: guide home, two tutorials (Set up your clinic, Run a clinic day), 22 how-tos, explainer, and reference (permissions, fields & actions).
- 30 screenshot scenes — real component captures for dashboard, appointments, queue, consultation, invoices, settings, and doctor setup.
- Role-based paths — tenant owner setup vs reception daily tasks vs doctor clinical configuration on the guide home.
Out of scope (this module)
- Claim Management (
/corporate/*) — corporate billing and claims are a separate module. - Hospital HMS — inpatient ward pharmacy and BCMA, not outpatient CMS.
- Telehealth — video consult is not in the current MVP.

Known issues / notes
- OPD billing is clinic-scoped; retail POS and FBR fiscal receipts remain on the Smart Counter.
- Doctors need both the clinic role and practice assignment before they appear on appointment and queue filters.
