Order Management — Release Notes v1.2

Order Management — Release Notes

Release date: 4 June 2026
Version: 1.2
Status: Live in production

What this release is

Order Management is Ailaaj One’s order-to-cash engine for pharmacies — it takes every order, from any channel, through confirmation, stock reservation, picking, packing, dispatch, and the sales invoice. One Orders list and one fulfillment pipeline cover every channel.

See the Order Management user guide for how to use it day to day.

What shipped

AreaWhat it does
Multi-channel ordersCapture orders from the counter, phone, WhatsApp, hospital, your own website, and Shopify — all in one Orders list.
Order lifecycleDraft → Confirmed → Partially fulfilled → Fulfilled (or Cancelled), with a full audit trail.
Stock reservationBooking holds the exact stock for an order (earliest-expiry first) so it can’t be sold twice.
Execution & picklistsBook stock for confirmed orders and group reserved lines into picklists per warehouse.
Fulfillment pipelinePick (with shortfall handling), pack, dispatch, then raise the sales invoice.
Pending trackingUnfilled lines split into items already on the way (a transfer) vs. items that still need purchasing.
Auto stock-transferA transfer is raised automatically when the fulfilling warehouse is short; incoming purchase stock can auto-transfer toward waiting orders.

Reservations & auto stock-transfer

  • Reservations hold stock (earliest-expiry first) when booking runs; stock is only deducted when the sales invoice is created.
  • Auto stock-transfer raises a transfer when the fulfilling warehouse is short, and can pull incoming purchase stock toward warehouses with open demand.
  • Transfers are created automatically, but a warehouse still dispatches and receives them by hand.

Known limits

  • Stock transfers are created automatically; dispatch and receipt remain manual warehouse steps.
  • Full warehouse purchase-order / goods-receipt screens live in the WMS module.
