Create a transfer

When to use this: to move stock from one warehouse to another.

Create a transfer

Click Create transfer (top right). This opens the new-transfer builder, where you choose the source and destination, the transfer type (Direct or Request), and the items. A new transfer lands back on this list — highlighted briefly so you can find it.

  • A Request starts as pending (it needs dispatching), so it appears in Needs your action.
  • A Direct transfer is recorded as completed on creation, so it appears in All other transfers.

On a paired hub

When this device is connected to a hub, two extra buttons appear in the header:

  • Create Transfer (CrossHub) — start a transfer whose source and destination are on different hubs.
  • Sync STRs — pull and push recent transfers between the hub and the cloud so both sides are up to date.

If you don’t see these, this device isn’t hub-connected — that’s expected.

You’re done when

The new transfer appears in the appropriate list (Request → Needs your action; Direct → All other transfers), briefly highlighted.

Good to know

  • The builder itself is documented with the transfer-creation flow; this page only covers starting one from the list.
  • Cross-hub transfers are dispatched/received only when the relevant hub is connected — see Permissions.
