Skip or change bin

When to do this

The suggested bin is full, blocked, or you want to defer the line without assigning.

Steps

Skip (defer)

1. With an active item loaded, click Skip.
2. The queue highlights the next FEFO pending line.

Pick another bin

1. Under Other bins in this zone, click an alternate row.
2. Confirm with Confirm & Put Away · <new code>.

Scan bin override

1. In Scan a bin barcode to override…, scan or type the bin code and press Enter.
2. Toast Bin selected: <code> when found.
3. Confirm put-away.

Success looks like

Selected bin ring turns blue; confirm button shows the chosen code.

If it goes wrong

Symptom	Cause	Fix
Location with code <code> not found	Bin not in layout / typo	Add or fix bin in Warehouse Layout
No alternate bins listed	No sibling bins in zone	Use override scan or expand layout
