Permissions
Warehouse Layout is an admin/settings screen. Access is controlled at the route.
Who can open it
Reaching Inventory → Settings → Warehouse Layout (settings/warehouse-layout) requires any one of:

Tenant owners have full access implicitly.
What each level implies
- View — see the warehouse’s zones, aisles, racks, shelves, and bins, and print labels.
- Manage — additionally add, edit, and delete locations.
If you can open the screen but an action seems unavailable, your role likely grants view but not manage — ask an administrator to grant warehouse.manage.
Auditing & data safety
- Deleting a location unassigns any inventory first (inventory is never destroyed) and removes the location and its descendants.
- Setting a location Inactive is the reversible alternative to deletion.
