Assign a bin location
When to use this: put-away completion or correcting Not assigned location pills.
Steps
- Find the batch row in Current Inventory.
- Click Assign (unassigned) or Locate (already has a bin).
- If the batch already has a location, the dialog shows Currently placed (zone → aisle → rack → shelf) and opens that branch in the warehouse tree. Other zones stay collapsed.
- Expand the tree to pick a different rack or shelf, then confirm Assign location or Update location. The Location column shows the names you set (zone, aisle, rack, and shelf — not the internal code).
